Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

The three-day programme consisted of seminars, interactive workshops, question and answer sessions with trainees and senior leadership, as well as dinner out in a restaurant on the second evening.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

The graduate recruitment team were passionate about showing potential future trainees what the firm is all about, and keen that everyone had a chance to ask the questions they wanted.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

As a result of the programme, I feel much better placed as to what the firm is looking for in its trainees, as well as in what direction the firm itself is moving. There were some inspirational stories and career highlights shared, offering insights into the minds of the firm's top leadership and a valuable window into the future of the firm.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

I left on Wednesday with a feeling that the firm genuinely cares that it's lawyers want to work there, and that the self-realisation of each individual is strongly supported. There was an atmosphere of transformational leadership, and I felt that the firm has a very forward-looking stance with regards to business development.
