Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

Day 1 included an oversight of Deutsche Bank and the divisions within the bank. Day 2 involved discussions about being a woman in banking. Day 3 involved a mock interview and virtual networking.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

Very useful as prior to the insight week I had limited knowledge regarding each division.

Yes, I developed skills regarding film making as day 2 involved an activity revolved around creating a promotional video for Deutsche Bank.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Hard to fully gauge as the insight week was virtual but the members of the bank running the zoom were very friendly and all spoke highly of the atmosphere within the bank.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I enjoyed the insight as it really informed me about the structure of the bank. The team were very friendly and the company culture appeared to be very welcoming. My expectations were not fully met due to the experience being virtual but I would definitely return.
