Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role consists of learning from and supporting the structured real estate finance deal team. Reviewing market conditions and presented deals, conducting debt sizing, and helping the team progress through the deal life cycle, to conclude these deals.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am very fond of my program, I enjoy the learning experiences presented and actively seek these experience at all times. My organisation is very supportive of the programme and attends to any needs I have. Additionally the training provider is also very good.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have become efficient with Excel, understand debt sizing and cash flow monitoring, debt structuring. I have developed analytical skills in reviewing quantitative and qualitative data. I have built on my existing social confidence and speaking skills, and begun to built a greater capability of emotional intelligence.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is very well organised, the learning is spread out over a reasonable period of time, its not too cramped but it is also not too sparse. The learning and assignments are very evenly distributed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I received a high level of support from my employer. I receive support from my employer at all levels of management, include my team and higher management within my business area. Additionally my organisation has apprentice networks and dedicated early career networks for support which hold regular events for support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Regular training is provided from the training provider tutors on a weekly basis and catch ups with my training coach occur quarterly. My coach is also available at a moments notice to support any queries I have.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel it helps me consider my actions and helps provoke my thought patterns when conducting my work. I feel it helps me to perform better in my role and going forward future modules will only expand on this.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are many extra activities and networks within my work, opportunities to meet more colleagues and higher management through meetings, socials and events. Additionally there are also sports charity events to attend.

It's a very positive and friendly place to work. Additionally they look after their staff and the environment within the work place is very engaging, developing, enjoyable, and fun.
