Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
My role is in fraud prevention. I work in the transformation area of fraud, so dealing with changes in the bank and assessing the fraud risks so they can go live. I also complete apprenticeship studies one day a week.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
It is okay. I find some of the work I am doing boring and not very exciting. I am also in a small team that are not in the office very often so I have to sit on my own most days not speaking to anyone.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Since this is is my first full time job and my first experience in a corporate world, I have learned many skills. The mains one are how to conduct conversations in meetings and everyday work - communication skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
In terms of the apprenticeship coaching from, Babington it is very structured as they submit work for me online and we have monthly reviews. Also the Early Careers team have been great in providing drop ins and a christmas meet up.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
My team have been great and very supportive.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
A lot. If I am unsure about anything, I can email them and they tend to reply very quickly. Similarly, if I am struggling to complete a task before the due dat, I can let them know and they can move it out with no problems.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Very well. The learning and questions I am answering as part of my apprenticeship compliment my job extremely well as I can actually put into practice what I have learned.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
1/5
No
