Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Cleaning and analysing data, developing my skills utilising industry standard software and gaining proficiency. Interacting with stakeholders and more senior data scientists to gain a deeper understanding of current projects.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I've really enjoyed the early stages, it started quite slow due to the job start date being different to the apprenticeship start date but that allowed me to explore the structure of my team and organisation and see where the work I'll be doing will fit in.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

So far I have been focused on advancing my excel skills to clean and sort both structured and unstructured data to provide actionable insights, developing my python skills to help automate processes for other teams. More to come as my apprenticeship programme furthers.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well-organised with regular email correspondence and clear sessions in the build-up to the programme explaining what is expected from all aspects and recommendations to get the most out of the apprenticeship combining studies and workplace.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support has been really good from my employer so far as we have been prompt in sorting a clear calendar for my working week incorporating my off-the-job training time as well as session time, which gives me and them a clear understanding of when bank work can be done.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lots, as we have 3 layers of support, from the providers support team themselves, alongside the lecturers on the course, as well as personalised support from our own individual coaches to help us through our programmes, while also collaborating with my line manager to give clarity on development.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

So far tough to assess due to only just starting the qualification but from reading the documents it is a well-integrated and designed to replicate what I learn in theory on my course into practice in my workplace.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many extra-curricular activities with regular networking events at hubs up and down the country to meet different managers in your departments etc as well as opportunities to contribute to the community.
