Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

Each day included a number of sessions which were tailored to a specific business area. Each session included panels of employees, networking and some included group taks.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

Very helpful in allowing me to decide firstly, whether I want to work in the industry and secondly, which specific business area I want to work in. Learnt about a typical day at work for the current employees which was also helpful.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Everyone was very friendly from my classmates to employees and also the seniors. Everyone was so willing to help. The atmosphere was quite relaxed and there were people from various different academic and cultural backgrounds which made me feel very welcomed.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I really enjoyed the insight as there was a broad range of sessions included which allowed me to not only learn about HSBC and the different roles, but also network with employees and interns who were once in our position.
