What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was highly interesting learning about the different roles in DLA Piper. In particular I found understanding the Pro Bono and litigation work that DLA Piper to be very interesting and inspiring.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
I found that the culture and atmosphere in DLA Piper was very inclusive which I found I very very encouraging. More importantly it showed how there culture helps them as a firm the strive and perform at a high standard.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I highly enjoyed the content covered in the programme and went way above my expectations. I was highly impressed by the companies culture and how much work they put into the programme to make it enjoyable and insightful.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to DLA Piper
For the insight programme there was no interview or assessment process. I would recommend putting effort into the application process and CV.
In terms of my inspiration to apply, I am interested in my current course (LLB) and I thought that this was an opportunity that I could not miss. The programme allowed for me to obtain a solid understanding of the functioning of a corporate firm and importantly it was a fantastic networking opportunity.
