Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
As a flying start I am essentially an associate at PwC, my day to day role consists of discussing with seniors what work I can do for that day (assuming I haven't already got any) and being coached on how to do that work before completing it
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I enjoy it, it's good to get experience working whilst at uni. There are some drawbacks (e.g. missing out on uni) but it's okay overall - I'd recommend it

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Definitely, I've become better at excel, improved my social and networking skills and become proficient in technology exclusive to PwC

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Pretty well structured, there's communication between all the parties involved and we are told well in advance for any important events that may occur
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
A lot, we have buddies, career coaches, our other fellow flying starts and people on our team who we can always turn to for help
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
We receive a lot of resources, teaching and mock exams from the provider. It's enough to give us a good chance of passing the exam
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The knowledge I learn from studying for the exams can definitely be translated into my work - especially the audit/assurance exams
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Lots, there's a lot of societies at PwC and also a lot of socials to get involved in

Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
