Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I was working on audit procedures throughout my placement. This meant completing files, having calls with client or emailing them on queries. I was also on calls with my team for catch-ups and coaching.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the experience working in audit. It was busy but the challenge made it fun.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learnt new audit procedures and improved my Excel skills. Worked on audit procedures that can be complex so learnt a lot there.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think sometimes the communication as to what we are doing before our placement starts is sometimes unclear. But overall structure of the programme is well organised.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My team was very willing to coach me. It was just that sometimes they had more pressing concerns so my coaching sessions had to be moved back
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They teach the things required for the exams and are willing to answer any questions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I got a basic understanding of audit going into placement because of a 1st year audit module.
