Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
An assurance associate's typical duties include attending client meetings, compiling data, and keeping in touch with the team on a regular basis. Throughout the day, email communication is important, and occasionally visiting customer locations may be necessary. Additionally, team dinners and lunches offer chances for networking and cohesion-building majorly.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I am incredibly satisfied with my apprenticeship programme. I had a strong preference for apprenticeships and had my sights set on this specific company and role for a considerable amount of time after realising that attending university was not the best choice for me. When the chance eventually presented itself, I was overjoyed to get the job.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learned and honed a variety of new abilities for my position. As key components of the profession, effective communication and socialising have substantially improved. My ability to use programmes like Word and Excel as well as write professional emails has significantly increased as a result of this role.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
I am a part of an extraordinarily well-structured and organised apprenticeship programme. The organisation offers a thorough calendar for the following year that lists the client assignments, exam dates, and training days. This degree of organisation goes above and beyond what I had anticipated, and it provides a clear road map for my progress throughout the programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I am fortunate to work for a company that is very helpful and provides a variety of options to help. They give us pals, mentors, and apprenticeship coaches who are crucial to our daily lives. These people work as our managers, coaches, and points of contact, providing us with excellent support if we have issues.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
As previously indicated, we are given an apprenticeship coach when we start at the organisation who acts as our main point of contact for any issues pertaining to the apprenticeship. The apprenticeship coach is there to help us whenever we have queries or concerns. We meet with our coach on a regular basis to talk about forthcoming assessments.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I have firsthand knowledge of this strategy's advantages. I received the chance to take the assurance exam as my first exam because I was a member of the audit team. This turned out to be really helpful because it gave me experience with the documentation and evidence-gathering process at all.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
The company, in particular my department, frequently hosts social gatherings that provide partners, managers, seniors, and apprentices a chance to mingle. These gatherings, which frequently take place in eateries or bars, promote camaraderie among trainees and enable contacts with more seasoned workers, promoting a friendly and cooperative environment to the company and employees precisely.
