My role involves making sure that health guidelines are followed properly. I also advice and come up with meaningful solutions to arising problems. On a daily basis I am in charge of maintaining high hygiene standards around the place of work I am also actively involved in risk assessment and identification .
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

This programme has given me an opportunity to learn. Here I am able to work on my career and get other opportunities to propel me forward. To be able to work alongside qualified staff and visionary management is a true honor. Also to be able to contribute towards the success of Avery healthcare group makes me satisfied.

My job at Avery healthcare group gives me an opportunity to learn and perfect my skills. I have been able to lead teams and collaborate with others to do work. Also I have learnt time management and multitasking plus delegation of work. I have also learnt hygienic principles that benefit me at a personal level.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

This programme cuts across all needed areas and delivers all the needed concepts in order to achieve the set goals. Regular assessments and close coaching is a very important addition to the programme structure as I am able to be taught and given the opportunity to ask questions and get valid answers.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Avery healthcare group is my employer. They management has put in place all the required framework to make Avery healthcare group a healthy and promising environment where one can truly flourish and learn. With modern equipment to aid in work and adequate personel it is a good environment. Also the employer organizes training programs where we learn additional skills.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider has been so helpful towards helping me gain the required qualifications. Regular assessment checks and evaluation are a common occurrence. The training provider keeps a close contact with me and monitors my development throughout the entire period. Also the training provider advices me on other opportunities that I could fit in.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

As a health officer at Avery healthcare group it is a job that has a fair amount of challenges but I have been able to take the challenges head on and find a lasting solution for each. With the solid foundation in health education I have full confidence that I am a perfect fit in this position.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Avery healthcare group is a place not only for professional practice but also gives room for other activities which includes extra-curricular activities such as exhibitions and workshops which are a good place to discover yourself. We also collaborate with other groups to who together we advice the public on important health practices.
