My overall day to day role is to hel where I can with the brokers and be able to learn skills off them that I can in future use to grow my own client base, as well as my knowledge of the industry which I am currently working in neing MENA business
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme, as I bleive that I have gad a greta level of exposure to the market which has allowed me to grow my social network, and I belive that I have picked up skills, knowldge and habits quilcy from the way the programme is liad out

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my existing techincal skills such as in excel and word which I use on a sdaily basis for slips and data packs, I ahve also developed my ability to converse with individuals within the industry which allows me to convey my opinion whne needed and more often

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Overall the structire is well set outr as you have constant points that you must meet at certain times in order to progress, therefore these milestones allow yu to quantify your growth and see the speed you are developing at and if you are keeping up with what is reqiired

My employers guve me a large aount of support where needed, especially my line manager, hwe snueres that I can cope woth the work set to me and that I am not overwhelemd, offers uspport if I need it and become stuck with an activity and offers me imprpvemnets in my work
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

the training porvider iffers a lrge amount of support as they offer wokrshops that berwak down the course into key compoinents whihc allow you to undertand what you are learming and the iportnace ofeach section and how many mars could be asked whne you come to sitting the test in the future

I blice tat it helps as itr direcstly links to my role therefore, from here I am able to use this knowldge and pplay it to my day to day role which enavles me to perfomr better as the understaning I have is greater and this helps me to dvelop

Soxuial events are large as there is the Under 35s reinsurance groupo which offer nights out and events whihc enables you to meet people aroudn a simialr age in the indsutry which allows you to relates tp them and converse iwth them which allows you to emasure your dvelopment in

Why?
I belive that the compnay is well set ut and structured and I also belive that they spend a lot of time nourtouring the apprentcies int the teams they are in, whihc enbales the apprentcies to feel more comfortable in their role rather that disaccaoiuated with the team they are in
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Guy Carpenter?
I would give the the advice top been themsleves, at the end of teh day the indivdiuals applying for thsi role should be looking to progress and dvelop theior undertanding of the inudystry so dont learn everything efore to impress, impress off your perosnality rather than what you know to dvelop
