Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Looking after the BMS (Building management system) on various customer sites. Interacting with customers, problem solving, working at computers and on the physical equipment.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The programme has been very much enjoyable especially with having the other apprentices I joined the same year as to experience it with. Not only this but I work with an amazing team who are incredibly supportive.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Learnt many new skills from continuous training provided by the business such as: First aid skills, Programming skills, Graphic design, BMS, General computer skills, Electrical Awareness, Presentation skills, Public Speaking and many more. Not only this but have gained skills similarly from the degree side of my apprenticeship.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
My programme is as flexible as I'd like it to be. I'm able to explore areas of the company of my interest if i'd like and gain a wide range of skills or I can focus on other areas and gain an advanced skill set there.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive support not only from my employer when asked by also my team, managers and fellow apprentices.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
The support at the University I attend can be mixed at times, sometimes its helpful and other times not, but there are certain people who I'm able to go to who will try to provide the support I need as long as its been raised with the right people.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
The current degree I'm working towards hasn't had much influence on my job role as of yet other then teaching a few basic skills that can be helpful and giving a more in-depth understanding of what I do/work on but not necessarily helping me perform better.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are multiple opportunities in the company for such activities.
