I work with the linesman and cable jointers on maintaining the electricity network

I enjoy working with the teams out on site and in different locations everyday

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt how to climb poles and maintain the network and work on the network safety and also how to cable joint on the low voltage and high voltage network

Everything is well planned out to work with when you are down doing training and have different courses on

I receive lots of support on different aspects with college work and on writing up reports on work that I have completed

I receive support from the training provider to help understand of the network is run on a daily bases and how different pieces of apparatus on the network works
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps to understand of what we do on the network keeps in running well and minimise faults

There are some activities like organised walks and a gym which is free to sse employees
