Bids and Contracts Intern Review

My day to day role included completing supplier forms which were required for various things. These forms granted payments or new starters to being their roles. I had the responsibility for looking after these forms. Another daily task I had was to update our knowledge-based library. This involved me adding new or updated documents / information for the wider team to have access to. I also had my own projects to look after!

Yes! I was given full responsibility for a full time job which has really helped me for preparing for the world of work after university.

I have developed upon my writing skills, which is a crucial skill to use in university. My communication skills have improved and this has made me feel much more comfortable in a professional setting.
I am able to adapt to new working environments, and also have seen a huge difference in my confidence. My organisation skills have improved massively, as I was responsible for many deadlines and being able to meet these deadlines.

I received full support and guidance from my team. My manager and I had a daily call which was really useful and helped me a lot in my role.
The wider team are always available to help whenever I needed.
I couldn’t have asked for a better team!

I really enjoyed my placement. I have developed so much as a person and my confidence has sky rocketed. I can only thank my manager and team for this.
