Taking orders through the window. Also, participating in kitchen roles like order packing and cleaning the kitchen area.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

To be honest, I have no past experience regarding MC jobs but when I joined I was very shocked because they never made me feel like a newbie. Here they treat me as part of the family.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes. Always pay attention to the order, even a small order. Ensure the accuracy of the order. Cleaning is very important in the kitchen area. I really like one thing here, people are always happy to help each other which is a great sign for professional development e.g. work ethics and team player role.

It's really planned and structured.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The family is very supportive, especially for trainees. They are always available for help. Even if we make mistakes, they happily teach the trainees how to cover these training mistakes.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

During my trainee's weeks, they teach in a practical environment. Giving the chance to learn the system and how things are working at a slow and fast pace. I'm very happy and lucky to work here with a great team.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification background is Computer Science so that helps me easily use the User interface and menus of the McDonald's items.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, they are conducting these types of activities but right now I'm in my training session.

Yes
Why?
Because McDonald's is a great opportunity for the beginner. They are really supportive and give training on how to work professionally and at a fast pace.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to McDonald's?
Just follow the process defined by McDonald's and no need for any extra reference because it's a really great and transparent hiring system. If you have any abilities and skills they will hire 100%.
