Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I provide career advice and facilitate moves for lawyers at all levels of their career, from paralegal and newly qualified to associate and partner level, in both private practice and the in-house market.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was surprised how much responsibility we where given. You can really make a difference in this role and learn how to work both independently and as part of a team.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I was extremely supported throughout this placement. Not only by my line manager and office manager, but they also provided us with a placement tutor within the office, who we could go to with any additional questions and support.

What advice would you give to others applying to Hays
Just go for it! This is an environment where hard work really is rewarded so I would say just put as much as you can into everything and enjoy the experience because it goes by too quickly.
