Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Working on a 12 Month Placement as part of my degree I specialised in sourcing high calibre Non-Qualified and Part-Qualified Accountancy & Finance professionals for employers within the Warrington region.
My primary day-to-day focus was to partner with candidates and clients using my expertise and market knowledge to ensure I made the right match that helps individuals and businesses grow.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was very quickly given full responsibilities in my internship. You are expected to operate and deliver just like the rest of the team and expectations aren't lowered because you're an intern. This was really beneficial for my development as I was learning on the job.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I was given full support from my manager who spent time with me everyday while I was training. There is also support outside your team and various training modules which allow you to collaborate with other interns.

In the Liverpool office everyone is very close. The atmosphere in the office is relaxed and collaborative, with lots of social events.
