I’m a shift manager. I cash up tills, run shifts, organise crew into right positions. I enter waste and ensure everything is correct following procedures and food safety.

It was well organised and structured. I found no problems at all with it.

I didn’t receive much support from my employer, but I received loads of support from my tutor at Lifetime Training.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I received exceptional support from my training provider at all times. They really helped me with everything.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I now have more experience and feel more confident doing the job I do. Also, I feel amazing about my results and it has made me better at what I do.

Because it’s a good place to work and has plenty of benefits no matter what age you are and the apprenticeships are very good for anyone
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to McDonald's?
Be prepared to work but also look at doing an apprenticeship, it is totally worth it and will help you in the long run.
