Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
When I have a responsibility / task to fulfil I enjoy it a lot and really look forward to reaching a stage where I have the necessary experience and knowledge to allow me to contribute more to the site

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Definitely developed existing skills quite a lot such as communication and discipline. I think there is also room for further improvement as my confidence grows within the workplace

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
Reasonably well organised. the workplace courses that were included in our 4 year programme could be changed. some were unnecessary whilst some would be very useful if they were brought forward to earlier in the programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
i recieve all the support I need. i always know where to look and who to ask for help
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
tutors helpfulness vary. we have an on campus day once per module but i often feel like they are a missed oppertunity as i would prefer to have more one on one time with lecturer discussing the work during these days instead of lectures
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
the knowledge I have picked up on so far I can't necessarily apply to my work, however my time management has improved as i need to make sure i complete uni and workplace tasks. however some tasks push me to ask my mentor questions that benefit my knowledge
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
there are extra training courses / learning workshops that I have taken
