5/5
I thoroughly enjoyed the programme, whilst it was challenging, I felt supported throughout.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I previously have had no experience in accounting, the apprenticeship gave me the skills and training to become a chartered accountant. This has developed skills I previously developed at university such as mathematics.

Structure and Support

5/5
The programme is very well organised and the programme is structured to fit around my work commitments. This has meant I have had time off to study and I was aware far in advance of what I would be doing and when.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
PwC supported me throughout this process whether that be formally through have sufficient paid time off to study or through informal meetings with my manager to check on my progress.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Kaplan provide you with a talent coach who regularly checks in and ensures you understand the progress you have made and outstanding tasks you have to complete.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Due to not have any previous accounting experience and having studied economics at university, the qualification has given me a wider understanding of my role and the impact it has.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
PwC is known for its social opportunities, similar to university, the office has different societies such as charity, social mobility, sport and social. This involves the societies planning office wide activities which are fully funded.
