I am an Intern within the Defence sector at Rolls-Royce. I work within R&D as part of a team of 10.

I am being treated like a full time employee - with all the relevant benefits as well as the relevant responsibility for deliverables.

Really good, quite relaxed and flexible provided you get deliverables out on time. Not met a person who is not willing to help out if they can.

Do not try and prove yourself as the 'smartest in the room'. The company is looking for more than that with soft skills as well as your way of thinking.
