Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Maintaining the internal company network, providing connectivity to offices. Decommissioning old equipment and replacing with new switches and routers.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
It is quite enjoyable. There are days which are less enjoyable but overall quite fun and interesting.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have improved my communication and teamwork skills, along with developing technical skills and learning how the internal systems and networks work.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
There have been some hiccups along the way which prove that all is subject to change, however it has a somewhat decent level of organisation
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
A very high level of support from my line manager and other colleagues, along with regular checks that we are ok.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
1/5
We have structured university days, with mostly relevant lectures however the university doesn't seem to support much outside of lectures and leaves quite a lot to be desired.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
The content is somewhat relevant, however it doesn't personally help me in my role
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Whilst I haven't personally been involved in any of the events there seems to be a wide range of options if I wanted to get involved.
