Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Working with various clients, communicating with all levels of staff internally, providing compliance documents to clients.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy the programme, it allows me to work and learn, which suits my lifestyle and career goals.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I had no previous experience or skills in health and safety, and now I can carry out the role on my own - I still however am offered support. I also have learnt how to work in a professional setting.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme is extremely well organised - have different support teams in place for all apprentices to help if there are any problems. My training provider also has experience with apprentices, so this is smooth too.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
As much support as I need, there are multiple people in place for me to contact if I need anything.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Comparable to any regular degree - tutors are available to respond to emails, and I can get extensions if needed on deadlines.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I am already using content I learnt on my degree in work, and vice versa. I am surprised by how much I am already using and building upon, and this is beneficial for both work and university. This helps with daily tasks, and projects.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, there are many societies/sports clubs to get involved in across Arup, and these are made accessible when first joining the company/ when you show interest.
