Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
1/5
Within a service platforms test team, testing voice devices.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
The university side of the programme was enjoyable as I learnt a lot, for example about networking and even software. Unfortunately, it does not carry over to the workplace and the team I am in.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
2/5
Learnt about voice communication and some technical aspects. developed communication skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
A rollercoaster of an experience regarding the university due to Covid and also off the job hours being chaotic with constant changes in requirements. However, the BT side of the programme has been well organised.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
I feel that I can get the support from my employer if I need it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
The support is there if required, such as library services and academic coaches - dissertation supervisor is 1 person for a whole class due to lack of staff.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
The course developed my knowledge (starting from knowing nothing) of networks and some software to help me understand the bigger picture of my role. Unfortunately, my actual day-to-day does not really involve much of what I learnt at all.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Yes, there are activities to get involved in if interested.
