Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Day-to-day I manage cost, programme and commercial management. my role involves client face to face meeting and liaising with the Arup Design Team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme as uni and work overlap and I can practise what I learnt in the real world.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot of Project Management skills, such as risk management, cost management and the use of scheduling softwares like Microsoft Project and Primavera P6. My leadership and communication skills have also greatly improved.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Well structured modules (with assignments) followed by reporting End Point Assessments.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
A huge amount of support, should I require it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
I am supported, however the communication from the training provider is often very poor and can take a while for support to be received.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Greatly. I have confidence as I know the academic details and can apply that in the workplace.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I play football with Arup most Thursday evenings.
