Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Developing potential solutions to problems such as congestion and. decarbonisation. Assessing the impact of recent building developments, such as a new housing estate, on transport systems. Designing research methods and survey techniques. Modelling traffic flows using mathematical techniques and specialist computer applications. Analysing and interpreting data. Preparing reports and publications. Giving presentations about proposed transportation options. Staying knowledgeable about government transport and planning policy.
Preparing documents to ensure new schemes are granted planning permission.

Good work-life balance. Great opportunity for professional development, training, learning on the job. Support from senior colleagues alongside opportunities to take on responsibility. Very friendly and inclusive place to work. Understanding of flexible working. Private health insurance is great as a benefit. Profit share twice per year.
