Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role as a supervisor is to lead the team in driving day-to-day sales and make sure availability on the shop floor is at its best. I also have to make sure the legal side of the job is done which involves checking dates and doing reduction on the item on their last day on shelf.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The programme I believe is a very good platform for adult learners where you are given enough time to prepare for your class, you always have one to one sessions with your coach where we can discuss your strengths and weakness. My best part is to attend class via Teams as it is very convenient.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have learnt some new skills and am still on the learning curve on things like cashing up after trading, doing shunting during frozen change over and understanding the customer flow in the store. I have also developed my multi tasking skills as I have to adapt to changes when we are down on colleagues.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think the programme is well structured because it looks at the basic idea of every aspect of what you are doing or what you are about to do. The level I am on is focusing on Maths, English and retail operations. On that note, I think it is a well structured programme.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I am sure I am receiving the support I should be receiving from them as they provide the environment for me to be part of the programme. I always use the staff room when I have a one to one meeting or exams with my coach.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I received maximum support from my training provider as they provide most of the resources that I am using to study. They also provide the group with an instructor for tuition or a one-to-one class. They also organise and provide the atmosphere for the exams.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel very confident that this will help me perform better in my role. Taking into consideration that the module we went through is all about retail operations, things like stock rotation, equality and diversity, branding, and so on are very important in the retail industry. This training has broadened my idea about retail.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

At the moment I am not involved in any extra curricular activities at work. As the retail calendar is so busy, you are left with no spare time as family time is also important.
