During my role at Lloyds Banking Group I was integrated into a fully working software engineering team. This meant that I was integrated apart of the team like any other employee. I worked using agile methodologies and was in a very positive environment. While there I learnt many new skills.

Structure and Support

5/5
My work experience felt very well organised. There was always an opportunity for me to contribute and complete tasks. It was clear that my placement there was structured. I was given a project to work on that was set aside for me. Whilst working on the project I had structured meetings that occurred at similar teams each week.

During my work experience at Lloyds Banking Group I received lots of support. I was working with a mentor the entire time so whenever I had a question I was able to ask. I had weekly meetings at work where I could say if I had any more serious questions and ask for support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I did my work experience at Lloyds Banking Group in the summer after I had done my exams. This meant they did not need to support me in this way. However, I was always driven to learn more and increase my skills. They always supported whenever I wanted to improve on any skills
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My T-Level helped me a lot with my role. My qualification had me learning the basics of python. My role had build a model that was written in python. With this underlying knowledge I was able to complete this task in adequate time and apply my learning on my qualification to my role.
