Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Working as part of a audit team, conducting the audit of real clients. Tasks include helping team members, assessing documentation, attending client office for meetings.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
In my opinion, I would say the programme is very enjoyable, it is a big change from university life and gives you a really good idea of what the working life entails with responsibilties.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Confidence in working as part of a team as well as people skills, time management and problem solving

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme is very well organised and is structured to ensure no one feels left out, having personal career coaches and buddies who are experienced helps answer any questions you may have.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
The support at PwC is second to none, working as part of a team you'll always have someone to go to with any questions, this makes sure you are always confident in your day to day tasks.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
When it comes to University, you have to put in the work, but if you do then it is a smooth road to ensuring you get all the exemptions and pass marks to work your way to Chartered
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Understanding Audit and Assurance in University definitely helped when it came to work placement, it gave me a wider understanding of why we do specific tasks rather than just how to do it, which is cruical.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Work Socials are an integral part of life at PwC, they planned on a semi-regular basis, and is a great way for the team to bond in a less professional environment. As well as this, weekly Game evenings help relieve some stress from the working week
