My day-to-day role involves using DevOps ways of working and supporting colleagues in their use of our DevOps tooling.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well organised. We have a central team at Lloyds Banking Group who look after colleagues on apprenticeship courses and also have a good structure in place with Firebrand training to do the actual course.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I was supported and guided everyday of my apprenticeship. No question was too small or too silly. I felt completely accepted and found that my employer was willing to give me plenty of time to make sure I could study effectively.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Firebrand offer good courses and regular catch ups with a Firebrand tutor. I found this really helpful.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has helped me to completely pivot my career. I have a deeper understanding of technology because of it.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are professional networking events and the company organise plenty of Tech Talks with big tech companies, which is really cool!
