Talking with different people from different sectors in the business, taking part in different workshops and sessions to learn about and experience some job roles. Talking to current apprentices and shadowing them.
To what extent did you enjoy your work experience?

I enjoyed meeting lots of new people and having new experiences in the business culture, something that I probably wouldn't have experienced firsthand until I started working.
How well organised was your work experience?

There was a timetable for all the workshops and talks for each day, we were given this ahead of time, so we had time to plan and knew what we were expecting.
How much did your work experience help you in deciding on your future career path?

Helped me to think about some more opportunities that are available for me such as apprenticeships. It made me want to work in a place like it in the future.

What training and skills development did you learn from your work experience?

Research, time management and presentation skills, communication, and independence. We did a CV workshop which helped us build our LinkedIn profiles and our CVs.
Company Culture
How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?

We did a presentation each, on the company values, this helped us to learn about and experience the culture. By talking to so many people, we were also able to see clearly the culture and get a good feeling of how it would be to work there.
Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?

We were almost always meeting new people, at one point we even met the CEO.
