Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Webchat, managing the employment law inbox, completing technical training,
call shadowing.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
The programme and my day-to-day role do not sync, it is good to know why certain decisions are made in the wider HR programme.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Listening and communication skills as well as being confident in offering advice to clients via email and webchat.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The structure has some good aspects. I was originally told the programme was 18 months for the HR certificate. That has now changed and been made slightly longer.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Excellent support with 1 - 1 coaching and opportunity for study leave and additional support as needed.
There is always the offer of help when the course is demanding.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Coach and materials are available, but access to the online portal would be beneficial.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
At the moment, there is no direct correlation between my day-to-day role and my qualification, but I am sure it will come handy as I progress through my career.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, the wellbeing team provides a lot of social activities.
