Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As a Senior Contracts & Commercial Manager I look after large IT Cloud contracts to ensure suppliers are delivering against their obligations, we're protecting service, we're recruiting and keeping talent and we're resolving disputes quickly.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It's a great programme and the trainers have been fantastic throughout.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, my apprenticeship has given me a multitude of new skills including project management, business & operational planning, self awareness and personal development and how to be a better manager to my team.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very well structured. Our sessions are all planned in advance and I have regular check ins with my learning coach to ensure everything is on track and we're ticking all the boxes in preparation for end point assessment.

LBG are excellent. I am given autonomy to manage my own time. If I need to take a full day or a few hours here and there to be able to complete an assignment, I can do that.

Hart are excellent and provide masses of support and guidance and are always quick to respond to any queries
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The apprenticeship has given me a broader understanding of management and it's many guises and I think I am a more well rounded manager because of these learnings.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
