Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend JD Wetherspoon to a friend?
Yes
Why?
i started as a part time employee, but soon gathered there is a career there if you work hard enough. I have learnt a lot working in my role and have almost completed 11 years service - they have also put me through the degree apprenticeship too which helped me focus and give me a sense of direction
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JD Wetherspoon?
many see hospitality as a stop gap employment but there is actually a career in it which goes beyond being bar staff and waiting staff. I was always told that JDW would work you hard, but i do believe you are rewarded for your hard work and make friends!
