My role involves analysing key data on key intelligence channels. Working and adhering to company policy and procedures ensured risk and managed . Effective controls in place to mitigate further risk exposure and ensuring no losses are above business appetite. Daily team meetings and engaging with internal and external steakholders in addition
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i really enjoy my programme as i am developing on the job daily, building on my key performance indicators daily and learning valuable experience across a growing complex world of analysing complex data. I feel i am learning new skills daily and enjoying the daily challenges on the job learning operating rhythms and at the same time having the time to learn and develop

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have in a short space of time developed and learnt many new skills, data analyssing / and learning the principles and foundation of cyber security has been a big help to me already, i have built on my delivery skills and from extracting key data in reports / spreadsheets feel i am developing daily in my role and growing my skillets week by week

my programme is very structured and i feel i have great support from my leader which is important to me, the programme is structured, set up around my capability and working pattern and the workload is manageable and enjoyable . i have a clear support network in place also which is important for me
How much support do you receive from your employer?

my employer has been great for providing support, they have massively helped me developed and encouraged me to grow and develop within the company, have a career path with qualifications and on the job experience is a perfect outcome for me and i know week y week i am growing my capability and career
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

my training provider has been great, the timeline and support has been very clear and manaageble and there is regular review touch points booked and planned in to make sure my wellbeing is being managed and supported which is a great benefit for me, the course is built around developing myself and this has been evident to me
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel this qualification helps me perform to the highest of levels and i feel great having a employer investing in my career whcih also giving me the experience and exposure within the role, this has made me feel so motivated and happy in my role and i look forward to each working day
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

My work have many extra curricular activities, there is active sports clubs / social events and charity evenest encouraging participation and social interaction, my employer takes wellbeing seriously and there is always networking opportunities both virtual and physical to attend which is amazing. my office site has a football pitch on site also

yes as my employer invests in your future, well being with many benefits such as axa healthcare, flexible working and hybrid working between working at home and in office. i feel empowered daily to perform the best in my role and i enjoy every working day. there is a team ethos and values instilled and i am proud to work here
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barclays?
to grab the opportunity with both hands, my employer has great internal opportunities and everyone is encouraged to work hard to achieve there own career aspirations, there is a massive variance of roles and opportunities and having the attitude to want to learn / develop and grow will help you achieve so much here
