Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Improvement practitioner role where we have weekly meetings in working toward a project that we can define, measure, analyze, improve and control. This project has taught me how to time plan and improve my knowledge on graphs and data. The next steps in the process would be to continue to enforce NPS mandatory training and signpost the NPS emails to customers on every call. We need to continue to send out weekly NPS emails to the floor. My next steps support my longer-term career development as it as taught me how to enforce incentives to drive colleagues.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy m apprenticeship very much as it is very informative and helps me define, measure, improve, analyze and control projects will help me later on in life. This project has taught me how to time plan and improve my knowledge on graphs and data. It has been an amazing experience so far

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
We recognise team contributions via our recognition portal where we can thank colleagues on work they have done, an example of this is promoting and receiving NPS feedback. The AVP’s also have weekly meeting n each team and there they can celebrate success and give feedback in team meetings and give rewards for good objectives achieved.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The apprentice is well organized and structured as we use project management software, make mind maps on our progress. At the start, we all created a project timing plan to help us organize what we had to do and in what time frame. From the start, cappella set a project schedule to help us stay on track. Our mentors are always there to support if we need them. Furthermore we decide which tasks are priorities and complete those first and this is what we have been taught to do.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
At the start of induction when we first joined Barclays, we were offered an induction programmed for new employees but as career starters or career changers, apprentices may need additional support to understand their role and responsibilities. We get assistance with performance reviews also. We also get help with networking.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Our training provider answers emails almost immediately and he encourages us to provide additional support for us to ensure our success with additional support or meetings or timing plan help. He gives us regular one-to-one meetings whenever we need them on top of our usual team meetings as a group fortnightly. They help us with networking opportunities performance reviews mental health and wellbeing support
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification through my training provider helps me better perform in my role as it has taught me how to deal with problems in a timely manner and ort them out promptly and how to improve customer experience as we work as a team in our apprenticeship so we do the same working as a team in work
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are extra- curricular activities to get involved in at work but most colleague don't get involved with them as it doesn't wok for their times as we all work different shifts, it can be hard to get a work life balance with activities like social activities, bt there are no sports teams.
