Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I was part of a team of 5 people, 2 for frontend and 3 for backend.
My responsability was, as Java backend developer, to work on a microservice called GeoBridge. We would have daily stand-ups and regular meetings with our team manager. We would use tools to keep track of the progress and have a clear plan of the next steps.
We used the Spring Framework and communicated with the frontend through different endpoints .

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have learned a lot of new skills, such as what it takes to work on a microservice, but also what the Spring Framework represented. In addition to this, I improved my programming skills in Java.
