Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Reporting, billing, initiative work, month end tasks. Communicating with internal and external customers and colleagues. Responsible for meeting month end deadlines and initiative milestones. Mentoring and handover to the new apprentice.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Very much, learning new skills, developing new relationships and slowly growing into a role that suits me best. However I do find sometimes the work/in-depth explanation can be a little overwhelming at times.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Tapestry and journals - massive new role and constantly learning new skills within this. Clyde month end - similar but also different to Devonport month end so involves me learning different and new skills within Clyde. Managerial skills when helping mentor the new apprentice.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Very well, was given a checklist with guided hours per week in which i should be focusing on and committing to. With hours given aside for college work which is essential.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Couldn't say enough about how much support i receive, whether its from my team, manager, mentor or just colleagues within Babcock. There is never a time i feel i cant contact someone for support or guidance.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Plenty of support, weekly drop ins and help if needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It does in terms of dealing with bookkeeping and ensuring i maintain the level of ethical standards, however a lot of my stuyding doesnt directly relate to the tasks and roles i do as an apprentice.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
1/5
No, of course i work from home remotely, but i would be much more inclined if there was a social side to my apprenticeship, i only really know two other apprentice whos my mentor and who i am mentoring, as well as having no awareness of activities or sport.
