Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My role involves being part of the support and communication of Human resources for operations staff in restaurants. Partnering with regions of the north west and midlands. Deliver and facilitate Human Resource curriculum, conversations supporting serious and sensitive case management. Ultimately any element of the employee life cycle within operations.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I am enjoying the Daily tasks, Daily interactions internally, Daily interactions externally, new Responsibilities, Projects that are pushing me outside my comfort zone and being included in more areas of the business after now having more understanding of the role and being able to apply different skill sets each and every day.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt to apply theory and methodology towards my day to day tasks and project management. Stakeholder mapping and learning more influences techniques to help deliver a human centric approach for employees. By applying a laser focus to working conditions and having upskilled in confidence and competence for different audiances.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The bud platform is very well structured with units, modules and end of portfolio project work that will pull together in the end to help assist with the end point assessment. The structured calls and assistance with the leaner support is very good from Avado and McDonalds collectively for the apprenticeship
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I am given more than enough support form my employer, time resources, soundboard conversations. allowance to be able to expand wider than my day to day work load and have the scheduled time to complete work and apply time for study time every single week with check in time planned too.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
The support I receive from my training provider is very good, there could possibly be a faster turn around in marking to help motivation levels remain high. Often can be slow to mark the larger pieces of work in conjunction with unit completed work - this is not always the case
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The theory and methodology add to the experience in people practices working spaces, being able to apply theory and structure to my previous understanding has certainly helped me perform better in the role and will continue as i progress through the qualification stages this year and beyond through my secondment
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes we have extra developmental focus areas, we also have team building and charity planning events that we focus on to ensure we stay aligned and connected to focus on what matters most to the business, the team and ourselves to help motivation and mental health awareness, for this helps
