Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

On daily basis I go through client information and ask them about areas in financial statements like about debtors, I also work in teams with a senior.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Very much so. I have met amazing people and worked and learnt a great deal from them. Also got to travel a lot and also have the school experience by going Kaplan.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, Learnt alot about accounting, tax and finance. Developed my excel skills, communication and writing skills too.

Very organised, they tell us beforehand our plan for the week and the upcoming months.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support. We are allocated a line manager and also a buddy so can ask a lot of questions to them.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Kaplan provides a lot of help, anytime we need help we can email them at any time and will get a reply quickly, In class they help us by practicing questions and doing mock tests.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The ACA qualification helps a lot in my role as I need to perform tests to check the client has calculated depreciation correctly for example. From the training provider I have learnt about depreciation so can ensure the client has used it correctly.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are lots of socials going on and through emails, they let us know about networking events.
