Analysis of store stock levels & sales to ensure best stock placement, with the ultimate aim of minimising markdown & maximising profit.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Programme is great. Enjoying learning again. Having a personal tutor/ point of contact is useful.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learnt theory behind tasks that we do in our role day to day. For example, we analyse data/ build reports with raw data every day, but it was great to understand the GDPR laws that our data at Matalan must comply to.

Very well structured, I have access to a clear schedule for the entire programme to keep me informed/ on tack with my learning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Great support from employer - both from my Line Manager & the wider business (i.e. apprenticeship networking sessions).
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Great support from provider regular check-ins with my tutor & quick feedback to any work submitted/ questions asked.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Only covered 2 modules so far, but it has provided me with some theory behind the tasks I do day to day & encourage me to be more considerate about what I'm doing whilst doing it. Hoping to learn something new on Power BI.

Think Family. My favourite thing about Matalan is the people & we encourage each other to be the best in everything we do. Give examples of how you've worked well in a team. Also, have fun with your application - Matalan encourages everyone to be themselves & think outside the box.
