Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
▪ Ensured group liquidity by maintaining sufficient funds in over 70 bank accounts to accommodate payments and transfers.
▪ Diligently assisted in decision-making on the amount of surplus invested into Money Market Funds and in executing FX trades to manage cash in over 15 currencies
▪ Analyzed and valued hedging instruments - IR Swaps and FX Options, weekly, to identify opportunities to exercise them
▪ Liaised with the wider finance team across various functions to ensure upkeep of financial records

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
We were assigned a mentor who we could reach out to at any given point, be it professional or personal. In terms of the support for work, I was corrected without any harshness for my mistakes. I was advised to take up additional training for concepts I found difficult. It was an awesome experience.
