I am an audit and assurance assistant. I work on audits by completing testing on various financial statement areas, planning audits and finalising audits. All of which included constant communication with clients.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the environment and the team. I don’t enjoy audit very much as it is tedious and monotonous

The exams help me perform better. The apprenticeship requirements outside of exams are completely and utterly pointless and a waste of time

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Forvis Mazars?
Be yourself in interviews and assessment days. Try to come across as a sociable person as your personality will be assessed more than your competency as skills can be taught on the job but changing someone’s persona isn’t possible.
