Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I'm an RPA developer, which essentially means I'm a software developer working in automation within the banking industry. I code solutions and liaise with business minds while working on projects.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
My work-side apprenticeship is fantastic, I really love everything about my job, however my training provider is very unsatisfactory - I've really not enjoyed the degree side of my apprenticeship, but I know how important it will be to future development, so I'm continuing to do it.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Lots of different coding languages: C#, VisualBasic, SQL, JS, HTML, CSS. Also learnt a lot about business engagement and stakeholder management

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
I am given quite a lot of free roam with my apprenticeship, as I'm treated no different in my job than my other colleagues. I prefer this approach, because I still receive appropriate support from my line manager when I need it.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Lots of volunteering opportunities and social events
