Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Yr 1 - I became an expert in a billing system from scratch.
Yr 2 - I also manage projects and workstreams. I also work on standardising information management.
General - I support the Early Careers team as an engagement/outreach rep.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
Very much. I would recommend this programme to anybody who is a self-starter eager to explore anything and everything.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Stakeholder Management, Business Case building, Communication, Lateral Thinking, Self-Reflection, Scoping

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
It is very up to the apprentice to structure their programme with BT. QA has it very well-organised. BT is building more structure right now.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
A lot, if I ask for it. But it's hard to know what support is out there/to ask for when you're new.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Incredible support. I have a dedicated skills coach and the training provider themselves frequently put in check-in sessions with learners especially at L6.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I immediately get to compare theory to reality in the business, and try theory out in my own practice what I believe to be a safe learning environment in the workplace.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Loads: People Networks, Early Careers Outreach/Ambassadorship, Volunteering, Proprietary Workshops and Training, Upskilling
