Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I am a business admin apprentice and work in a team of Executive Assistants. My role is to support my team and take on tasks such as booking meeting rooms, booking desks, booking travel, doing expenses, looking at diaries and more. The work that my team carries out is all internal. I also dedicate one day a week for college, this is normally a Wednesday and we are required to carry out 6 hours a week of college work.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy my programme quite a lot, not only do I enjoy the physical work but everyone I work with and have met so far have been lovely. Nothing is too much ask in this company and everyone is always happy to help.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I believe I have learnt new skills in terms of the systems and processes used by my organisation/team. I have had to learn what tasks my team carry out and adopt the ways they do it. I believe my apprenticeship has also helped me develop existing skills, for example when using Outlook, Word, Microsoft Teams and Excel.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I believe my programme is quite organised and well structured, the only thing I feel is a bit more complicated is the college side of it.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive plenty of support from my employer, including colleagues, line managers and my team.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive plenty of support from my training provider, having regular catch ups where I am informed of what I am doing well and what I need to improve on which will help me get the most out of my apprenticeship and get the best grades I can.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Very well
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, there are plenty of extra-curricular activities to get involved in such as events and there are often opportunities for team catch ups/outings.
