Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

i am working within a project completing real life cases, gaining invaluable experience. On a day to day bases I have daily meetings with my team where we review the work for the day and ask for any help or guidance. We then complete cases working though them.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Im extremely happy with my experience so far, It has exceeded my expectations. i've made a range of new friends and enjoy being able to develop my relationships with them. So far, the experience has been positive and eye opening. Im very happy that i choose to start this apprenticeship programme.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have learned a ranged of skills and had a vast amount of training so far. I ve developed my confidence and public speaking skills. I've developed my critical analysis thinking skills an my practical problem solving skills which helps me in my day to day role in work.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think my programme is very structured and organised, there is constant monitoring and management. We have career coaches in place that give us guidance and feedback and we have meetings with them monthly to discuss any challenges we may be having and how we can be supported through them.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

i think the level of support is amazing and is extremely helpful, we have career coaches and buddys that give us a range of support and guidance when we need it. its a helpful tool that is extremely useful and allows us to ask a range of questions and get the help we need.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They are extremely helpful and aware of our weekly routines and are aware of our working schedules, they allow us to work and gain an education at the same time. They tailor our course to fit the daily work we do. They ask for feedback and this helps ensure the course is delivered to meet our needs.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

As our course is tailored to our daily working needs is it extremely helpful and helps build my skills and professional development. I can apply what I learn in university to my daily working life and this helps me while working through cases and improves my professional career. It is very helpful.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

within your team there are monthly socials, which helps you build relations with your team. There is a social event called first fridays where the 1st of every friday there is a social we're all employees are invited, this allows me to hang out casually with my peers from the programme. There is a range of sporting clubs and daily groups.

Would you recommend PwC to a friend?

Why?
I would recommend higher level degree apprenticeship programmes to all school leavers, especially PwC business management degree programme. I enjoy being able to learn and work at the same time gaining invaluable experience and real life experience which will help me with my professional development and my career in the future.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
When applying to PricewaterhouseCoopers apprenticeship programme i would recommend for individuals to be extremely aware of all the details and to read in detail each stage of the application. At each stage of the application its important to be confident and friendly and its important to show your true self at each stage.
