Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Handling incident tickets, opening recovery actions, handling access request and monitoring critical aspects of the bank's internal and external digital infrastructure and network.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed my program quite a lot, quite a few interesting courses and lab work which allowed me to fully get involved in my learning, the lecturers were also supportive

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I've gained a critical understanding of digital architecture and how a financial digital infrastructure is composed and maintained. I have also learned critical investigation skills and understanding digital team escalation points, how to properly report and document incidences and appropriately handle recovery efforts.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure of my program was easy to understand, made out of lectures and personal written courses done in my own time. Everything was well communicated.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer gives me a lot of support and all the needed time to focus on my studies alongside my work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I get a lot of help from my training provider and assure that I have a 1-2-1 with them every month or so in order to address any issues/questions/learning requirements I may possess.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have used a lot of what i've learned in my qualification and applied it to my role, it allows me to better understand the basis of which my job is built upon and allows me to be a better part of the team.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are always plenty of extra activities at my work, such as charity staff football, charity outings, charity volunteering, etc...
