Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role is primarily focused on supporting my wider team of relationship managers and assistants to give customers a good experience whilst trying to meet goals for the team. As an apprentice I am able to assist anyone who needs help. I cover excess lists which ensures different businesses have their payments covered and monitoring the account activity. i have helped with a few projects, researching care homes to see if they could be prospects, using different software and websites such as full circle and companies house. I have a customer who contacts me when they would like a query answered or facilities to be opened.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I really enjoy my programme , the structure of having 3 months in the role before starting my apprenticeship- this has allowed me to get to know the company and my colleagues and get my mindset ready to start my course.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
prioritizing, writing formal emails to clients to instruct them or help them, using software to prospect and using back office to look at customer accounts and draw rationale from certain transactions. using excel and growing me skills in making spreadsheets etc. completing many forms so following instructions I have written down when shadowing colleagues.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Well organized with lots of resources such as training plans study texts, knowledge checks and zooms and webinars. it has been a bit confusing which website to use for what but this has been worked out.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
lots of support from my employer, regular meetings with my lie manager, support from staff in my team, emotionally and also with training and skills. I also have 2 colleagues who were apprentices and 1 who is still in the course so we can share our experiences which is hugely beneficial to me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
so far lots of support, I can email my coach to ask questions watch live seminars and use lots of resources to study from.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
it is too early to say however, learning about the banking world and all of the context that comes with banking, this is very helpful in the role as you understand more of the industry as a whole.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
lots of networking events, employee led networks and conferences in london.
